It's war, battle or fight. You may separate the word into two pieces: left piece means "single" and right piece means "weapon". And then you may take the meaning of the word as "a single man holding a weapon".

Comrade

It's comrade,the way guys in communist countries like China and Cuba call each other. And do not forget its another meaning in Taiwan: GAY.

Anger

It's anger. Someone feels angry. In ancient Chinese, it also means "suddenly and grandly".

(Spicy) Hot

It's spicy hot, not weather hot. When we say girls "hot" or "spicy", we use the word.

In English, hot weather and hot chilly pepper are both "hot". But in Chinese they are different words. It sometimes confuses English beginners in Taiwan.

God

It's the god, or lord. Whatever your religion is, your god is always in your heart.

I know most of people saying that the Chinese believes in multiple-god religion. And the Chinese also prefers to claim real or fictitious people as "god", such as Wen, Tien-Xian (1236  ~ 1283), a prime minister in Sung dynasty.

Ninja

Ninja, Japanese ninja. It's a Japanese word, and we Chinese take it from Japanese. When you read Japanese, you'll see lots of Japanese words look like Chinese. Most of them were taken from ancient China in the seventh century.

Buddha

It's buddha. One of the main religion in Asia, which the monks are usually bald.
